The Griswolds are back—older, but not wiser—in this hilarious new chapter of holiday chaos!
Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase, returning in a cameo as “Grandpa Clark”) has passed the torch of holiday hosting to his grown son, Rusty Griswold (played by Ed Helms, continuing his role from Vacation 2015). Rusty is determined to carry on the “perfect Christmas tradition,” but like his father before him, his good intentions spiral into total disaster.
This time, the Griswold family gathers at Rusty’s smart home in the suburbs. He wants to impress everyone with:

A 20-foot genetically engineered Christmas tree that refuses to fit inside the house.

Relatives arriving in waves, including the return of the infamous Cousin Eddie with his family (and an RV worse than ever).
Of course, Clark can’t resist stepping in, giving Rusty questionable “holiday advice” that only makes things worse. Between runaway drones, over-the-top light displays, and the world’s most disastrous holiday dinner, the Griswolds once again prove that when everything goes wrong, family is all that matters.
